Your HUNT
All of our hunts are run on Saginaw Bay on the east side of Michigan. We start the season the last week in October and run until early December.
The main hunt involves using layout boats to hunt the open water on Saginaw Bay, targeting the Long Tailed duck. The Long Tails are a distinct and very beautiful bird. They spend their summers far north in the tundra, and then they winter in the Great Lakes. It’s a very unique hunt.
The other hunt we do is in the phragmites marshes around the bay. When hunting in the marshes of the bay you’ll get a wide variety of species which makes it exciting.
Your BoatS
The layout rig is a 1984 Blue Fin Center console powered by twin 40hp Evinrudes.
The layout boats are top of the line to make it comfortable for everyone of all ages and sizes.
The marsh rig is a 2022 19ft Gator Trax surface drive boat that allows us to get where the birds are no matter where they are.
Your guide

Following in their footsteps, as a young boy Sam started joining them on their hunts. Since the age of 10 Sam has hunted all over the country and has developed a huge passion for it.
